What is chunk culling?
Chunk culling is a method of optimizing disk usage for Minecraft servers. It removes chunks that have been loaded for a very short total time. Chunks that have seen player activity will not be culled. Culled chunks are mostly comprised of travel-chunks (chunks that were used for traveling).
Why is chunk culling needed?
This mechanism of optimization is needed to save disk space on the server. Since this is a non-destructive task for the player, it's a no-brainer optimization to use.
Without chunk culling, the world files that make up PhoenixAnarchy would keep taking up more disk space. Eventually growing to an insane size.
Will my beautiful base be removed?
No, any chunk that has been built in, will not be removed. Your pretty base will be just fine!
